How your flight works

From the welcome to the landing

Everything nice and relaxed. You don't have to worry about a thing – I'll guide you step by step through your adventure.

Finding a date

Paragliding depends on the weather – that's why we set your date flexibly and usually quite spontaneously. Here's how it works:

  1. 1 You send me your request with your preferred period.
  2. 2 I keep an eye on the weather and wind forecast.
  3. 3 As soon as conditions are right, we agree on the exact date.

Meeting point at the landing site

We meet in a relaxed atmosphere at the landing site, get to know each other and discuss everything important. I calmly explain the process, answer your questions and take away any nervousness.

Driving up to the take-off site

Together we drive up to the take-off site in one of our cars. The equipment comes along – you don't have to carry anything and can already enjoy the view.

Briefing (take-off simulation)

At the take-off site I show you in a short take-off simulation exactly what to expect and what matters during take-off.

The take-off

A few steps down the slope – and the wing gently lifts you into the air. No jump, no jolt: the transition from ground to flight is surprisingly smooth. This is what a take-off looks like:

The flight

Now it's time to enjoy: soar, marvel and let your gaze wander over castles, forests and fields. How long your flight lasts depends on the wind and thermal conditions – every flight is unique.

The landing

To finish, you glide gently back onto the meadow – controlled and soft, usually on your feet. A perfect end to a great experience. This is what a landing looks like:

Your flight as a video

On request, you can have video footage taken of your flight. You hold the GoPro yourself. For 30 €, I'll then conveniently provide your video in a cloud for download.

About me

Paraglider pilot since 2009

Sometime during a holiday in 1992, I saw paragliders in the sky in the south of France. That's when I knew: I'm going to do that one day too! In 2009 the time had come. My paraglider was always with me on holidays in Mallorca, Turkey, France and Italy.

Since 2018 I've also been flying with a motor – solo, with a propeller driven by a two-stroke engine on my back. But for me, the most beautiful form of paragliding is when I can share the experience with someone. With my son as a passenger, I completed my tandem training in 2020. Since then I look forward to every flight where I get to share my wonderful hobby.

By the way, I earn my living as an engineer at a large automotive supplier – flying is my passion, and you'll feel it on every flight we share.
